From the TV to pets and family members, if you are looking for a way to get out of work, chances are there is something in your house that can accomplish the job. One way to get around this is to set up a dedicated workspace with limited distractions, making it easier to unplug from work.
Don’t forget self care
Freelance work means you can work anywhere and at any time, however this can also increase your risk of burnout. While writing from home, make sure you set time aside for self care. This can include celebrating small wins like completing an assignment with an episode of your favourite show. You should also set aside time in your schedule for exercise and social interactions. Not only will this help prevent burnout, but it will also make sure you are experiencing all the benefits of working from home.
